My artwork investigates the connections between colour and symbolism, reflecting on emotions, relationships, and the ebb and flow of time. Using layered oil glazes, I aim to create depth and luminosity that invites you to pause and truly engage with the moment.
Each subject I paint holds personal significance —threads and leaves represent thoughts and feelings, animals symbolise loved ones, and beaches reflect the hinterland between our conscious and unconscious worlds. Stars and circles trace the lines between history, chronology, and time. My work is about mapping imagined terrain and hinting at the stories that live in the layers beneath the surface.
My work explores the meeting places between nature and human experience. Each painting is created to hold space for unhurried reflection and clarity.
